Take That Step Into Your New Life

Until you decide that you are no longer willing to live your life just being comfortable, you will not step into that new life. You have to decide for yourself that where you are is not where you want to be. You have to decide what you want your life to be like and manifest it into reality. When it comes to manifesting change, the first step is to identify what you want to change. Take some time to reflect on the areas of your life that you want to improve or change.

Identify

The power is with you to take back control of your life whether it be from addiction at a pet friendly drug rehab clinic, a dead end job, or from an abusive relationship.Β No one can decide for you.Β  You have to take that step and decide you deserve better. Start by taking a good look at your life and ask yourself a few questions.Β

  • What do I want my life to look like?

  • What really makes me happy?

  • In 10 years, I see myself doing what? living where?

Really think about your answers. Don’t just say Β “I want more money” or “I want to hit the lottery” Think in concrete terms about things you can accomplish. If you want more money, think about how to get that money. Is it a new job or a new career? What are the steps you need to take to have that new career? What can you do today to start on that path toward your future?

Visualize and Set Intentions

Once you have a clear idea of what you want to achieve, the next step is to visualize your desired outcome. See yourself in that office, writing that book, creating that art, living that life. Identify your values and what matters to you in life. Visualize your future and then step into it. Imagine yourself already having achieved your desired change, using all of your senses to create a vivid mental image of what your life will look and feel like once you have manifested the change you want.

After visualizing your desired outcome, the next step is to set clear intentions. Write down your goals and intentions in a clear and specific way, using positive language and focusing on what you want to achieve. A great way to do this is through journaling with intention or creating a vision board.

Create a Vision Board

When it comes to creating a vision board, the first step is to gather materials. You’ll need a poster board, magazines or images that resonate with you, scissors, glue, and any other decorative materials you’d like to use.Β  Spend some time thinking about the areas of your life you want to focus on and the goals you want to achieve. Then, begin cutting out images and words that represent those goals and arranging them on your poster board.

As you create your vision board, remember to focus on the positive outcomes you want to manifest. Use inspiring images and phrases that make you feel good and encourage you to take action toward your goals. Keep your vision board somewhere where you’ll see it every day, like your bedroom or office, and spend a few minutes each day looking at it and visualizing yourself achieving your goals.Β  You can also create a digital vision board if that is more of your style.Β  A digital vision board can be set as your computer background or phone lock screen so you can see it as a constant reminder of your goals throughout the day. Your vision board should be a source of inspiration and motivation that reminds you of your goals and helps you stay on track.

Make a Plan and Take Action

Taking action is the next step in manifesting change. Create a plan, set achievable milestones, and take consistent action toward your desired outcome. Stay positive and persistent throughout the process, focusing on your goals and celebrating your progress along the way. Finally, stay open to opportunities that may present themselves and be willing to adjust your plan or take a different path if needed.

  1. I have many wishes, yes. But in this society, wishes don’t come true without money, to be honest. At least I can’t think of one thing that does not require money.

  2. I really need to look at what truly makes me happy and do those things. So many people think money and fame bring happiness, but that is not the case for me.

  3. What a true statement! You can’t ever get anything accomplished unless you take that very first step in the right direction!

  4. I want to travel to Japan and stay there for a month. I want to gain momentum in a career that uses my college degree and allows me to make good money.

  13. I just shared my post from a few months ago about making goals on the Traffic Jam Link-up. I basically wrote about the things that make my happy, and what I would like to spend my life doing. I am planning on writing an update/progress post in the near future. I set a big goal when I wrote that post (one I haven’t verbalized to anyone yet), and although I am not quite there, I am working very hard at achieving it. Thanks for the inspiration to keep going πŸ™‚

  14. No plan ever happened without intention. Thats why its so important to make plans and goals both short term and long term. I thought I was done making plans and goals (particularly big ones) after college. I was so wrong. Life is just not like that. You should never stop or you will not have anything to live for.

  15. This quote is so true! I’m 47 years old & still don’t know what I want to do when I grow up. πŸ™‚ My husband farms so we feel like we’re “stuck” here but we are thinking of building a house on the farm; so I will be help him more. I never thought I’d be marrying a farmer, let alone married to a farmer. But we just celebrated our 27th anniversary and the farming life is where I belong. I can’t wait to move over there.

  16. These are thought-provoking questions and not ones I can answer here today, but I am definitely going to put some thought into it and make sure I am on track; if not, make adjustments. Thank you.
