I had the opportunity to try out Faces Beautiful Brush On Liquid Mineral Makeup.  Here is the description from the Faces Beautiful website:

This Brush-On Liquid Mineral Makeup feels feather-light and silky-smooth, while providing ample coverage. The innovative “brush- on” applicator makes it so easy to apply and ensures that you’re spreading the liquid foundation properly. No fingers or sponges needed. This air-tight tube with its attached brush makes it convenient to carry and gives you a water-resistant, all-day finish. The formula is actually so unique that your skin looks natural, yet better then naked. FACES Beautiful mineral makeup actually improves the texture of your skin and gives you a more flawless finish.

My Thoughts

I used to use the powdered mineral makeup but as I began aging I found that the powdered mineral makeup settles in the fine lines and wrinkles emphasizing them instead of camouflaging them.  I have tried several liquid foundations, primers, and concealer combinations and often found that they too settled, especially after adding powder. I didn’t have that problem with the Faces Beautiful.  The brush on mineral makeup gave me an all over smooth finish even after I added translucent powder.  I had no need for a primer or a concealer either and the Faces Beautiful was so easy to use.

No mess and the brush is built right in.  You just open it, twist to on, squeeze, twist to off and apply. It lasts all day and doesn’t melt off in the heat.  It makes your face feel soft and smooth and does help control the shine once set with powder.  This is my new foundation makeup and I recommend you try it too.

It comes in 3 shades

  • If your skin tends to be a bit sallow – choose Radiant Beige
  • If you have excess pink in your skin – choose Healthy Nude
  • If your skin is very tan, indian or hispanic toned – choose Sun Glow

I used the Healthy Nude because I have a very fair complexion that tends to be a little red and blotchy at times.  As you can see in the pictures the shade works wonderfully with my complexion.
