So is one of those filler words. Similar to like and very. These are words that are overused, really mean nothing, and don’t add anything to a sentence. If you are writing and you see “so”, “like”, or “very”, take a minute and rethink their use.
Recently I wrote about the significance of a handwritten love letter. There truly is something magical about putting pen to paper rather than just pounding away at a keyboard. If you are looking for some inspiration on what to write in a romantic note for Valentine’s Day why not look to literature.
Brain dumping has freed me up from the confines I had placed on myself about what is a journal and what is a list. It allows me to just get it all out and down on paper. It gives me power over my own thoughts and helps to curb my anxiety. By spending a few minutes each morning and/or evening writing down everything that is on my mind, I can free up my thoughts to concentrate and focus on the activities of the day.
I love Twitter and have been managing Twitter accounts since its inception, years before I started this blog. So I wanted to share with you a few of my Twitter tips for building a community.
If you are a blogger or a business then you know followers are very important. Each account that follows you is a potential customer and you wouldn’t ignore a customer who walked in your store, so why ignore a follower. Unlike in real life (IRL) when you are being followed don’t run, follow back. If someone follows your Twitter account follow them back unless of course they are some weird porn site or a webcam girl .
Until you decide that you are no longer willing to live your life just being comfortable, you will not step into that new life. You have to decide for yourself that where you are is not where you want to be. You have to decide what you want your life to be. The power is with you. No one can decide for you. You have to take a good look at your life and ask yourself a few questions.
If you are anything like me, you are always looking for ways to save money and reuse old stuff you have around the house. Instead of just tossing out stuff that will end up in a landfill somewhere, I try to find a way to either reuse, recycle, or repurposes it. One of my favorite places to find ideas is Pinterest and today I am going to share 10 ideas I found.
We now have neighbors above us who have a dog. Our dogs, Vinny and Chiquita have a real issue with this. Every time they hear the dog upstairs, they bark. Every time they hear the people upstairs, they bark. We live in an old building with beautiful original hardwood floors, plaster and lathe ceilings and little to no insulation. These new neighbors have become the bain of my existence since they moved in upstairs. Very loud, drinking and fighting, slamming doors, and stomping kind of people.
I love getting free stuff in the mail. Who doesn’t? I thought I would share three of my favorite places to get some great products to try out. You do NOT have to be a blogger to sign up for any of these. You just need an address and a few social media accounts.
