7 Ways to Reuse, Recycle, and Repurpose to Save Money

If you are anything like me, you are always looking for ways to save money and reuse old stuff you have around the house. Instead of just tossing out stuff that will end up in a landfill somewhere, I try to find a way to either reuse, recycle, or repurposes it. One of my favorite places to find ideas is Pinterest and today I am going to share 10 ideas I found.

1. Repurposed floor mat

I love this use of old foam puzzle mats and a little paint to create an amazing mat for the kitchen.

2. Faux Wrought Iron Wall Decor

This beautiful “antique” piece of wall architecture is made with a cheap door mat and some paint. Yes! It’s just one of those really cheap doormats painted but it really makes a statement in any room.

3. Books from Bricks

This would be so cute in a garden or even as a bookend on a shelf. All it takes is some old bricks and some paint. Imagine these books in a fairy garden. So cute right?

4. Kitchen Canisters

How cute is this? Take those old coffee tubs and turn them into storage. Who doesn’t need storage, right? You could customize these for any room in your house really not just the kitchen. Think small toy storage or crafting supplies.
