I love lighthouses and have had the pleasure of visiting many of them on the east coast. When I was young we would rent a place at the beach for two weeks every August. Family from far and wide would come to visit and me and my cousins would spend the days on the sand and the evenings at the amusement park. The amusement park is gone now and me and my cousins are all middle-aged but I cherish those memories of a simpler time.
To me, August has always represented the sea and lighthouses. A few years ago I found out the National Lighthouse Day is in August. So I decided that for my #WednesdayWisdom post this month I would find some lighthouse quotes to share.

I love lighthouses as well. We have visited the Outer Banks of North Carolina the last few summers and they have several, including the one at Hatteras that is well known for its move. Thank you for sharing the lovely quotes at Party in Your PJs!
